Terms of Use
Last updated: August 2026
1. What This Site Offers
EstateClarity publishes general reference material on estate administration and probate across Canadian provinces and US states, together with a sample estate visualization built from fictional data. It is provided free of charge and as-is.
2. No Accounts, No Purchases
There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to buy. The site does not accept documents, does not process payments, and offers no subscription of any kind. Any older reference to pricing, accounts, or paid tiers is obsolete.
3. Not Legal or Financial Advice
This is the most important term on this page. Nothing here is legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice, and no lawyer-client or advisor-client relationship is created by using the site. Estate and probate law varies by jurisdiction and changes over time, and material here may be out of date. Always consult a qualified professional licensed in your own jurisdiction before making decisions about an estate.
4. The Sample Visualization
The sample estate shown on this site is entirely fictional. The names, assets, relationships and figures were invented to illustrate how a will can be broken down visually. It does not depict a real person or a real estate, and it is not a template to copy.
5. Accuracy and Availability
The site is maintained on a best-efforts basis and may contain errors or outdated information. We give no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose, and we do not undertake to keep the site available or up to date.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, anything published here.
7. Intellectual Property
The content, design, and underlying code of this site remain the property of the site owner. You are welcome to read and reference the material; republishing it wholesale is not permitted.
8. Changes
These terms may be revised at any time. The current version is always the one posted on this page.
